It is advisable to preferentially use closed-cell insulation materials such as rubberized and polyurethane, as their pores are dense and water vapor is difficult to penetrate, making them suitable for long-term high-humidity conditions. During construction, key attention should be paid to the details of the wind pipe flanges, plate splicing, and edge and corner connections to ensure complete sealing without any dead corners, and to prevent water vapor from infiltrating through the gaps, avoiding water accumulation and mold growth inside the insulation layer.
At the equipment function level, the adaptability of dehumidification should be strengthened. In view of the perennial high-humidity environment of the chemical fiber workshop, the air conditioning unit should be equipped with an exclusive dehumidification function section, different from the basic dehumidification mode of ordinary residential air conditioners, which can continuously process large volumes of humid fresh air. Through the dual effects of cooling dehumidification and heating stabilization, it can reduce the air humidity while ensuring uniform and stable room temperature, avoiding condensation caused by temperature differences.
The moisture-proof design in daily operation also plays an indispensable role. The internal drainage structure of the equipment needs to be optimized, with a reasonable drainage slope and a smooth pipeline to ensure that the condensate water is quickly discharged without any residual water accumulation. At the same time, a zone ventilation adjustment design should be adopted, adjusting the ventilation and dehumidification intensity flexibly according to the humidity differences in different production areas of the workshop, and combining with regular dust cleaning mechanisms to prevent fiber dust from absorbing water vapor and accumulating into lumps, thereby reducing the risk of equipment moisture damage from the root cause.
